Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (Thai Airways), one of the prominent national airlines, was established in 1960 as a joint venture of Thai Airways Company and Scandinavian Airlines System. The airlines recently announced an increase in baggage allowance by allowing an additional 10 kg baggage in its check-in luggage across all classes of travel on international flights. With a fleet of 80 aircrafts, Thai Airways operates flights to 75 destinations across 35 countries.
